بقربنا شاب في العشرينات يلبس قميصا كتب عليه
((GAP)) فأستوقفة زميلنا الكندي <<طبعا هو كندي من اصل عربي ومسلم
وسألة: هل تعرف ما معنىGAP؟؟؟
فرد الشاب قائلا:ماركة معروفة..
فقال زميلنا الكندي:والله هي اصبحت معروفة ولكن اتدري معناها؟؟؟؟
قال الشاب: لا

فشرح له زميلنا معنى كلمة GAP قال له:هي ثلاث حروف من ثلاث كلمات إنجليزية والله لو عرفت معناها مالبستها!!!!!!

لأن الناس في كندا وأمريكا ما يلبسونها
إلا فئة معينة؟؟؟؟
ومعنى الحروف الثلاث هي Gay And Proud
وتعني (( لوطي وفخور بأني لوطي ))
((مثلي الجنس وفخور))

Gap stands for " Genuine American Product"



? What? No, that is a good guess though, the name Gap came from the founder, Don Fisher in 1969 when he opened his 1st store on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco. He could never find jeans that worked for him, and/or he could never find customer service that was acceptable so he wanted to a create a store that would literally fill the "Gap" where there would be great product available as well as great customer service. Hence, the Gap. So, it does not stand for anything with each letter, rather it stands for what Don and Doris had as a vision for with their store. Funny, they started out selling Levi's and Records!
