Christopher Null - Following complaints by various trade and consumer organizations that the Energy Star logo is functionally meaningless, the Environmental Protection Agency, which oversees the energy-efficiency program, has rolled out Energy Star 4.0, a standard that will require electronic devices to meet a significantly more stringent set of rules in order to earn the designation.
